Jessie Tylre Williams: Musician, Songwriter, Author & Advocate
Jessie Tylre Williams is an international recording artist, musician, songwriter, author, podcast host, advocate, and entrepreneur whose life reflects resilience, reinvention, creativity, and transformation.
The Songwriter & Recording Artist
Music found Jessie before almost anything else did. Coming from a non-musical family, she started writing songs as young as nine years old, saving up for her first guitar and teaching herself to play. That early instinct became a career — an international recording artist known for a raw, authentic acoustic sound built around one guiding motto: Healing The World, One Song At A Time.
Jessie is a Nashville TCMA Award winner for Most Outstanding Showcase Entertainer of the Year and Most Promising Female Artist of the Year. She has performed at the Calgary Stampede, major military functions, casino stages, and festivals across North America.
Songs such as Breathe , Like You Like Me , Please Don't Let Me Down (Remix) , and On the Right Track carry the same message that has shaped her career: hope is still possible, even in the hardest moments.
The Author
That same conviction became the book Rising Above Hell — In Your Darkest Moments Is When You Will Find The Light, published in English and Spanish as Surgiendo del Infierno.
Jessie wrote it as an unfiltered account of surviving what should have broken her — 25 years of addiction, unspeakable trauma, and the long climb to 17+ years of hard-won sobriety. In 2026, she was recognized as an Evergreen Award winner for Best Recovery Author.
She is also co-author of Amazon's #1 bestseller Transforming Pain into Purpose, continuing her work of turning personal experiences into stories of hope, resilience, and purpose.
Podcast Host
Jessie has taken that same story further with the podcast Rising Above Hell, extending the book into ongoing, unscripted conversation. Her music is woven through the podcast as a soundtrack, while difficult conversations about recovery, resilience, trauma, healing, and personal transformation are brought into the open.

Advocacy is the thread running underneath everything else. For years, Jessie toured Canada performing at galas and events to raise awareness and funds for Veterans and First Responders battling PTSD.
She founded the National PTSD Benefits & Galas to help create stages for healing nationwide, work that was recognized with a Commendation Medal from Canada's Minister of Veterans Affairs.
That advocacy has become deeply personal. In memory of her daughter Racheal, Jessie built Racheal's Light, a mission focused on ensuring that people are not kept from her book or a direct conversation with her because they cannot afford it or do not know where else to turn.
The Entrepreneur
Off the stage and off the page, Jessie is also a licensed Broker/Realtor and developer in Bahia de Banderas, Mexico.
Her business work has been recognized with the Most Trusted Real Estate & Property Management Provider Award in 2026 presented by BUILD Magazine, part of AI Global Media.
Through every chapter — music, philanthropy, business, parenting, and every 3 a.m. moment of wondering if she'd completely lost her mind — writing has remained Jessie's sanctuary, her personal therapist, and significantly cheaper than an actual one.
She currently resides in Bahia de Banderas, Mexico, where she continues to build, create, advocate, study law, write, and perform — proving that transformation isn't a destination. It's a way of life.
